Special Wedding Song #1

Picture
Austin & I recorded our own version of "The Wedding Song" by Kenny G. He played piano and I played flute. We will play it during the seating of the grandparents, mothers, and bridal party processional.

Special Wedding Song #2

Picture
My maid of honor, Rosemary, was a vocal major in college. She has sung at a few of our friends' weddings in the past, and I knew I wanted her to sing a song at my wedding, too! She will be singing "Forever Love" by Francesca Battistelli. It's such a beautiful song, and I really think our guests will love her performance! :)

Memory Candle

Picture
We have several family members who cannot attend our wedding, mainly due to illness. We also have some family members and friends who have passed away in the last few years. I wanted to do something to recognize them, although they are either no longer with us or couldn't be there that day. My mother's good friend suggested that we light a candle before the ceremony to represent these people who are missing in body, but present in spirit. I loved the idea, so I will borrow a glass hurricane candle holder either from her or from my grandmother. (similar to the picture) We will put purple, pink & white marbles around the candle. I think it will be very pretty, and I love the idea of honoring our loved ones.

Reserved Signs

Picture
I bought these on sale at Michael's. My original plan was to use these to say "Bride" & "Groom" before I fell in love with the chair sashes from I Do Originals! Now I plan to use these for "Reserved" signs - I have several pairs!

Sorry the pic is so small and blurry!

Nantucket Baskets are a MUST!

Picture
My mother is obsessed with baskets! I knew I wouldn't have to worry about finding baskets for the programs, bathroom baskets, etc. I really would like our programs to be in a Nantucket Basket, if they are not placed on the seats.
