MY DRESS!

Picture
It's 'The One'!!
I found my dream dress in May 2008 (a whopping 14 months before my wedding)! I had picked out some dresses that I liked, but ended up falling in love with this dress that I had never seen before! My dress is from Alfred Angelo. It is a Piccione test dress, in Diamond White. I don't remember the style number, but that's okay because I'm pretty sure they discontinued the style. And that is perfectly fine with me, because that means the chance that another bride will have my dress is slim to none! :)

Here are some pictures from when I first tried on the dress, then went back & decided I had to have it!

The back of the dress! Isn't it gorgeous? Haha, my BM Kristine took the picture when I was fixing my hair! :P

First fitting! :)

Look, there's Sarah P in the green shirt! :)
Here are a few pics from my first fitting on May 14. Much love and thanks to Sarah P (spower5) and Sarah H-S (skhynes) who came with me - extra love to Sarah P for taking the pictures for me!

I brought my dress to Judi @ The Seamstress in Winter Park for alterations. Since my dress has a corset back, it fits me perfectly, so all I need is a bustle! I am a lucky girl and, according to Judi, "a cheap date!" ;)

The back. Please excuse my weird arms, I was trying to NOT touch the dress. ;)

My veil! :)

The veil on the model
I had a really hard time finding a veil I loved. I wanted one just like the one above from AA, but I didn't want to pay that much money. After searching veil websites, ebay, and etsy for weeks, I finally stumbled upon the perfect veil - and it only cost $60! Muuuuch better price. :)

I bought the veil from Etsy seller BellaBridalVeils. I gave her "neutral" feedback because she didn't ship my veil for TWO weeks!! (after I emailed her on etsy & at her personal email address) After she shipped it, I received it within 2 days, and it's perfect, but I wouldn't give her positive feedback because waiting that long is just ridiculous and wayyyyy past the usual waiting time for her items.

The veil is called "Crystal Beaded Edge DIAMOND WHITE Fingertip length Bridal wedding veil Swarovski Crystals Shining Rocaille Beads"

Garter

Picture
I ordered this musical notes set from Garters by Gingersnap. I had a hard time finding a garter I liked, and even though the colors don't match my dress or scheme, I loved them! :)

Jewelry

I had a really hard time finding jewelry that I liked that would go with my dress. Finally, I made a decision! I am going with the thistle drop necklace, thistle bracelet, and thistle earrings from Tigerlilly Jewelry! :) I love it, and I am so excited!
